Peter Sartori – Chief Investment Officer
Peter has over eighteen years in the funds management industry with fifteen
years managing Asian equity portfolios. He began his career in Melbourne
Australia before moving to Hong Kong and Singapore. His previous firms are First State Investments, Scudder
Investments and Credit Suisse Asset Management. Peter has successfully managed
Asian regional, country and total return funds. His lead portfolio manager track
record shows consistent outperformance of benchmarks with 1st and 2nd quartile
performance. Peter holds a Bachelor of Business and a Graduate Diploma of
Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
Eng Teck Tan, CFA – Investment Manager
Eng-Teck has over twelve years funds management experience specializing in Asian
equities. He began his career in 1997 with successful Asian equity boutique
Pheim Asset Management in Singapore before moving on to First State Investments
and Credit Suisse Asset Management. Eng-Teck has extensive knowledge of Asian
markets and economies, in particular North Asia and the technology and real
estate sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) degree from Nanyang
Technological University in Singapore and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
charter holder.
Kathy Ng, CFA – Senior Analyst
Kathy has nine years funds management experience specializing in Asian
equities. After four years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Kathy joined the Asian
equity team at AIB Govett (Asia) Ltd. Prior to joining TAAM, Kathy worked with
both Peter Sartori and Eng-Teck Tan as an analyst at Credit Suisse Asset
Management, specializing in South East Asia and the Asian listed property
sector. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) degree from Nanyang
Technological University in Singapore and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
charter holder.
Kenneth Wan, CFA – Senior Analyst
Ken has ten years funds management experience located in both Sydney and Hong Kong.
After graduation, he worked at Ernst & Young for one year before joining Credit Suisse Asset Management in 2001. At CSAM Ken joined the equities team as an analyst covering the resource and commodities sectors.
In 2007 he moved to Hong Kong with Citadel Investments as a portfolio manager covering resources and commodities. Following the closing down of the Citadel Hong Kong office in 2009, Ken relocated back to
Sydney and joined Maple Brown Abbott as a part of their Asian investment team. Ken holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours, first class), Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degrees from University of Melbourne and a
Diploma of Law and Politics from the Chinese University of Law and Politics in Shanghai. Ken is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
Ushanthi Jayasinghe, CFA – Investment Analyst
Ushanthi has seven years experience in debt and equity research. Following three
years undertaking debt and equity research at Fitch Ratings Sri Lanka she joined
a US independent equity research firm Amba Research. She joined TAAM after
relocating to Sydney in 2005. Ushanthi holds a Bachelor of Business
Administration (Hons.) degree from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. She is an
Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK and is
a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
Caroline Loke – Investment Analyst
Caroline has two years of experience as an investment analyst, previously working for an Australian independent research firm located in Sydney. Caroline graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Masters of Commerce in Funds Management and has a Bachelor of Engineering from University of Technology Sydney. She is currently a candidate in the CFA program.
Pang-Chan Ong, – Investment Analyst
Pang Chan spent eight years with the Singapore Government with his final role being the Head of Strategic Programs. This included championing the successful $330 million national environmental and water technologies program in Singapore. He joined Deutsche Asset Management Asia in 2008 as a regional energy and utilities analyst. Pang Chan holds a Master of Engineering from Oxford University and is a recipient of the Singapore government Overseas Merit Scholarship.
Stephen Lee – Senior Dealer
Stephen has eleven years of central dealing experience specialising in Asian equities based in Singapore. After almost four years at Schroders Investment Management (Singapore) Ltd, he joined and helped establish the central dealing desk at AIB Govett (Asia) Ltd. Prior to joining TAAM, Stephen headed the Asian dealing desk at SG Asset Management (Singapore) Ltd. Stephen holds a Diploma in Management Studies from Singapore Institute of Management.
